Senior Leaders Further Strengthen Firm’s Event-Driven Advisory Capabilities
9 September 2021 – Dentons Global Advisors, an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm, today announced Ryan Toohey, Humza Vanderman and Yim Wong have joined as Partners. Ryan will be based in the New York office, joining the senior team led by Adam Cubbage, Head of New York, while Humza and Yim will be based in the London office, joining the senior team led by Deborah Scott, Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa. The addition of these experts from global advisory firms enhances Dentons Global Advisors’ position, accelerates the recruitment of top talent, and strengthens the firm’s ability to help clients capture opportunities, manage change, assess and mitigate risk, address government challenges and, ultimately, enhance corporate value.
Ryan specializes in providing strategic counsel to companies and executives facing complex communications, government relations and regulatory challenges. He has navigated a number of Fortune 500 companies through “bet the company” moments, including major data breaches, labor relations issues, operational incidents, government investigations and executive transitions. Most recently, Ryan served as Managing Director and Head of Crisis Communications at Edelman.
Humza has extensive experience working on some of the most high-profile and complex corporate situations, including global M&A, public to privates, IPOs, restructurings, cyber breaches, regulatory matters and sensitive legal issues. He leads teams to develop and execute integrated communications and engagement plans to influence the stakeholders that matter most. Most recently, Humza served as a Managing Director at Finsbury Glover Hering, and was based in London following a two-year posting in Singapore from 2014 to 2016.
Yim specializes in developing and implementing innovative digital, insights-led strategies for some of the biggest and most interesting brands during times of exponential change. She seamlessly works across creative communications, capital markets communications, corporate reputation and crisis management to help clients meet their business objectives. Yim was most recently Chief Digital Officer and Partner at Milltown Partners.

These senior appointments follow the launch of Dentons Global Advisors in June 2021 with founding member Albright Stonebridge Group, and the subsequent acquisition of European public affairs firm Interel in July 2021.
