November 10, 2021 – Dentons Global Advisors, an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm, today announced Shannon Brushe and Elizabeth Cholis have joined as Partners. Shannon focuses on stakeholder engagement, corporate positioning and public affairs services and will be based in the Washington, DC office, while Elizabeth focuses on crisis, issue and dispute management services and will be based in the New York office.
The addition of these senior leaders further strengthens Dentons Global Advisors’ ability to deliver innovative and integrated solutions for clients amid an increasingly complex, regulated and interconnected business environment.
Shannon specializes in working with clients to effectively engage with their key stakeholders, build resilience ahead of potential challenges or crises, navigate complex regulatory and policy issues, and deliver measurable social, economic and political impact. She most recently served as Director of National Stakeholder Strategy for Duke Energy, one of the largest energy companies in the United States, where she was responsible for developing strategies to support the company’s engagement with federal regulators and national organizations as it worked toward meeting its climate goals.
Elizabeth has a 20-year track record of advising clients across industries on crisis planning and communications strategy around imminent or breaking issues, including litigation, employment matters, regulatory scrutiny, government investigations and business disruptions, among others. Additionally, she frequently works with clients to ensure crisis preparedness, including assessing a company’s state of readiness, conducting simulation drills, designing new corporate crisis management systems and implementing an effective framework for evaluating emerging situations. Most recently, Elizabeth served as a Managing Director at FTI Consulting.
