Former Colombian Diplomat Muni Jensen Join as Senior Leaders
October 6, 2022 – Dentons Global Advisors, an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm, today announced the appointments of Johanna Peters and Muni Jensen to help lead the firm’s expanded offering and on-the-ground presence in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. Ms. Peters will lead the firm’s new offering in Bogotá, Colombia and Ms. Jensen will be based in Washington, D.C.
Colombia will serve as the firm’s first LAC hub, building on the extensive work of Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge Group’s (Dentons Global Advisors ASG) commercial diplomacy team, which has been advising clients across the region for decades as they navigate policy landscapes, address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

Ms. Peters brings three decades of experience in government, management consulting and politics. Most recently, she was a campaign manager and senior political strategist for Colombian presidential candidate Sergio Fajardo during his 2018 and 2022 campaigns. Previously, she served as a public affairs and crisis management advisor for a number of Latin American and multinational corporations. She has also held roles in the office of Colombia’s vice president, the Ministry of Defense, and the Colombian Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Jensen will expand her responsibilities within the firm beyond her previous role as a Senior Advisor at Dentons Global Advisors ASG, continuing her work at the intersection of Latin American and United States affairs. She has an extensive track record of representing Latin American corporate and sovereign interests in the U.S., with particular expertise in trade, investment, and international arbitration. Before joining the firm, Ms. Jensen served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Colombia in Washington, D.C., where she held senior advisory roles to four ambassadors and managed Colombia’s trade, security and export promotion portfolios. She is a long-time journalist in print, TV and podcasting, and is a frequent political analyst in global media outlets.
