Aaron R. Taylor joins DGA Group as Partner in U.S. Government Relations Practice

Taylor as a Partner in its U.S. Government Relations practice based in Washington, D.C. With a distinguished career in legislative advocacy, Mr. Taylor brings a wealth of experience in tax policy that will enhance the firm’s ability to help clients navigate complex, high-stakes policy and legislative issues.
Mr. Taylor has spent a decade specializing in tax policy, providing expert counsel to corporations, executives, and trade associations on navigating the complexities of an evolving tax landscape. He has been instrumental in shaping pivotal tax legislation and has forged strong, enduring relationships with key policymakers and staff, particularly within the Senate Finance Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee.
Mr. Taylor’s career began in the U.S. Senate, where he worked for Senator Orrin Hatch on the Senate Finance Committee. In this role, he was instrumental in organizing over 30 hearings focused on the critical need for comprehensive tax reform and the importance of maintaining a globally competitive corporate tax rate. Following his tenure in the Senate, he served as Vice President of Tax and Trade for the Global Business Alliance, a coalition representing nearly 200 international companies. In this role, Mr. Taylor advocated for corporate interests before both Congress and the executive branch on critical tax and trade issues.
