DGA Group Welcomes Jennifer Berlin, Anka Lee, and Ambassador Puneet Talwar as Senior Advisors
Washington, D.C. – November 6, 2025 – DGA Group, an expert-led advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Jennifer (Jen) Berlin, Anka Lee, and Ambassador Puneet Talwar as Senior Advisors. These additions further bolster DGA’s geopolitical advisory capabilities, deepening the firm’s expertise across diplomacy, national security, technology policy, and regional strategy to help clients navigate an increasingly complex global landscape.
Ms. Berlin is a recognized leader in national security and technology policy with senior experience across government and the private sector. She currently serves as Vice President of the Economic Security and Technology Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where she leads policy work to strengthen U.S. competitiveness in emerging technologies. Her public service includes senior roles at the White House as Assistant National Cyber Director for Stakeholder Engagement; at the Department of Defense as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary and in the Office of the Under Secretary for Policy; at the Department of Commerce; and in the U.S. Senate, where she served as Press Secretary to the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. Outside of government, Ms. Berlin served as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at the Brookings Institution, where she helped establish its Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology Initiative.
Mr. Lee has had a distinguished career in national security and international affairs with deep cross-sector experience. He has held senior roles across government, including serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for East Asia at the Pentagon, where he strengthened security and military cooperation with regional allies and partners, and Deputy Assistant Administrator at the United States Agency for International Development, where he drafted USAID’s global strategy on China and led the Agency’s engagement at international institutions, including the United Nations, G7, and G20. His career in public and private sectors also includes roles in the U.S. intelligence community, Congress, WhatsApp, California public policy, media, and politics, and as an Asia-based journalist. He also served as a Senior Director at Albright Stonebridge Group, the foundational partner of DGA Group, from 2013 to 2017.
Ambassador Talwar brings more than three decades of experience navigating complex national security, diplomatic, and commercial issues across government and the private sector. He most recently served as U.S. Ambassador to Morocco from 2022-2025, while his previous U.S. government experience includes serving at the White House as a Senior Director on the National Security Council and the President’s lead advisor on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, and the Gulf. He also served as Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs and as a senior official on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Outside of government, he was Chairman and President of Crest International, a Non-Resident Scholar at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and a Senior Fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute. He is currently the CEO of Talwar Global Strategies, a boutique international advisory firm, and a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
