Dentons Global Advisors Government Relations Formed as a Subsidiary
Washington, DC – January 20, 2022 — Dentons Global Advisors, an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm, today announced the formation of a wholly-owned subsidiary to provide federal government relations services in the United States, extending the firm’s capabilities and deepening the pool of expertise available to clients.
Dentons Global Advisors has established this new entity with a core team led by Sander Lurie, Brad Queisser and John Russell, all Capitol Hill and campaign veterans who have an extensive track record in federal legislative and administrative lobbying. Lurie, Queisser and Russell join from Dentons Global Advisors’ partner, Dentons, the world’s largest law firm.
This transition will further strengthen Dentons and Dentons Global Advisors’ collaborative offering and comes in direct response to requests from clients who require nuanced counsel – offered through both the lens of a law firm and from outside a law firm – given the highly dynamic environment in which they operate.

Sander Lurie
Sander Lurie has spent 35 years working in Washington, DC, on legislative and public policy issues in the US Senate as a chief of staff, legislative director and committee staffer, as well as in the private sector. His policy areas of expertise include budget, tax, appropriations, health care, financial services, transportation and trade. Mr. Lurie served as Chief of Staff to Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), a member of the Senate Democratic leadership and has been named a “Top Lobbyist” in 2016 and 2018 – 2021 by The Hill newspaper.
Brad Queisser
Brad Queisser represents companies, municipalities and organizations with significant policy and regulatory matters before Congress and the Executive Branch. He has extensive experience throughout the public and private sectors, including serving as director of government relations for a leading law firm, holding several positions within the Democratic National Committee, and serving in two gubernatorial administrations in Indiana.
John Russell
John Russell worked for nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, serving on the leadership staffs of a speaker, a House majority whip and the chairman of the House Campaign Committee. He has worked both extensively and effectively in the legislative, communications and campaign arenas. His strong and nuanced working knowledge of the policy, political and personal aspects of Washington, DC, allows him to design winning strategies to accomplish dynamic policy and market objectives. Mr. Russell has represented clients in the Health, Energy, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Municipal and Sovereign space. He was named a “Top Lobbyist” in 2018 – 2021 by The Hill newspaper.
