Washington, D.C. – May 2, 2023 – DGA, an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm, today announced Ambassador Jorge Guajardo and Camilla White have joined as Partners. Based in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Guajardo provides strategic counsel for a wide range of corporate, financial and governmental clients with interests in Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) and China. Based in New York, Ms. White advises a range of global organizations on complex communications issues and stakeholder engagement strategies. Their addition expands the firm’s offering in the Americas with increased focus on cross-border engagements and highly regulated industries.

Ambassador Guajardo joins from McLarty Associates, where he led a number of multifaceted, multijurisdictional client assignments. Previously, he served for six years as the Mexican Ambassador to China, where he visited all 22 provinces of China and helped negotiate trade and investment agreements. Prior to his ambassadorship, he was Consul General of Mexico in Austin, Texas, and earlier in his career served as Director of Communications for the Governor of his native Nuevo León, Mexico.

This announcement follows on from the recent appointment of Alvaro Vertiz as Head of Mexico, which further expanded the firm’s on-the-ground presence in that critical market and strengthened its overall regional offering.
Ms. White has spent more than a decade leading strategic communications programs for global healthcare and life sciences companies. Working closely with C-suite executives, business development teams, communicators and marketing teams, she has supported the growth of companies’ presence and reputation in the US and globally by engaging with key stakeholders including employees, customers, investors, media, NGOs and regulators. Previously a Managing Director at Real Chemistry and FTI Consulting, Ms. White has developed varied expertise in corporate affairs and led numerous successful client teams.
