Stefan Knaepen is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. He is a seasoned specialist in taxation, finance and budgetary policy, with extensive experience in policy-making advice for regional and federal cabinet ministers and MPs alike. 

Mr. Knaepen started his career as a budget adviser in Flemish government cabinets of Internal Affairs and Spatial Planning. He went on to become a parliamentary adviser in the Belgian federal parliament and subsequently the Flemish Parliament in the field of taxation, public finance and budget. 

Mr. Knaepen currently holds the position of Head of Policy at the Flemish Council of the Order of Architects (NAV) in Belgium, is an independent tax and financial adviser, and has authored numerous publications in the field of taxation. 

Mr. Knaepen holds an M.A. in applied economics as well as an M.A. in tax law.
