Dr. Snehal Patel is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Singapore. He is a specialist in health and life sciences, working with stakeholders across the industry to help drive innovation and growth.

Dr. Patel brings more than two decades of experience in advising, investing in and operating businesses across sectors, with a focus on health and life sciences. He currently serves as a Managing Director of Saena Partners, a venture studio based in Singapore. In that capacity, he has co-founded seven angel and venture-backed companies in sectors spanning healthcare, F&B and lifestyle to financial services companies like MyDoc, Southeast Asia’s first regional insurance-focused telemedicine company which the firm exited last year.

A Kauffman fellow and CFA charterholder, Dr. Patel moved to Singapore from the U.S. to found and lead the healthcare team at the Clermont Group, a multi-billion-dollar investment fund, where he led the procurement and management of investments across South and Southeast Asia. Prior to working at the Clermont Group, he practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP in New York City.

Dr. Patel received an M.D. and a J.D. from Columbia University and served as a clinical fellow at the Harvard Medical School. In addition to multiple board and advisor roles, he currently serves as a faculty affiliate of the Center for Primary Care at the Harvard Medical School and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
