Richard Steel is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. With over 30 years of experience working in the public affairs space, he advises clients on policy and strategy across the EU institutions, particularly the European Parliament. 

Mr. Steel coordinates DGA Group’s intelligence gathering services, providing clients with early warning of policy threats and opportunities on a wide range of issues, including energy, natural resources and environmental policy. He gives regular presentations on the latest institutional developments and writes articles for several publications. He has also been advising clients on the Brexit process and the latest developments on the future of Europe. 

Mr. Steel graduated from the College of Europe in Bruges and holds an M.A., with 1^st class honours, in European policy studies from the University of Dundee. He also spent a year at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champagne.
