Puneet Talwar
Ambassador Puneet Talwar is a Senior Advisor at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. He draws on his distinguished career serving in the White House, State Department, U.S. Senate, and private sector to provide insights, strategies and solutions for businesses.
Ambassador Talwar served as U.S. Ambassador to Morocco from 2022 to 2025. He also served as Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs. At the White House, he was a Senior Director on the National Security Council and the President’s lead advisor on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, and other Gulf countries. As a senior official at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he crafted policies on pivotal issues.
In the private sector, Ambassador Talwar is the CEO of Talwar Global Strategies LLC, a boutique international advisory firm. He was Chairman and President of Crest International, a diversified company active in multiple countries. He also was a Senior Advisor with WestExec Advisors and Greater Pacific Capital.
Ambassador Talwar is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He was a Senior Fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute and a Non-Resident Scholar at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He has published articles in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, and The National Interest.
Ambassador Talwar holds a B.S. in engineering from Cornell University and a M.I.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He is a native of Washington, D.C.
