Nicole Wong
Nicole Wong is a Senior Advisor at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in San Francisco. She specializes in information and communication technology (ICT) policy, media and intellectual property law, assisting clients in the ICT sector.
In 2013, Ms. Wong served as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer of the United States, where she led the integration of technology and data across the government. Previously, she was the Legal Director of Products at Twitter and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Google, overseeing product and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the government, Ms. Wong was the Legal Director of Products at Twitter and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Google, where she was responsible for the company’s product and regulatory matters. She also held the position of Senior Compliance Counsel at Google.
From 1997 to 2004, Ms. Wong was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP, representing clients in the media and ICT sectors, and began her career as an Associate at Steinhart and Falconer LLP. She currently serves on the American Bar Association Communications Law Forum and the board of the First Amendment Coalition. She has also taught media and internet law at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley.
Ms. Wong holds a J.D. and a Master’s of Journalism from UC Berkeley and a B.A. in American studies from Georgetown University.
