Nicolas Gyss
Nicolas Gyss is an Associate Partner at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. He works for the DGA tech practice, informed by almost 20 years of experience in EU public affairs, within European institutions, public affairs consultancies and in-house.
Mr. Gyss provides strategic advice to companies, trade and professional associations and industry coalitions looking to navigate the EU policy and regulatory environment, promote their interests and shape policy outcomes. He has developed a particular expertise in the tech sector in telecommunications and connectivity, cloud and cybersecurity policies, and sport policies.
Prior to joining DGA in 2019, Mr. Gyss has served as a public affairs professional at two Brussels-based consultancies. He also held a pivotal role as the Director of European Affairs at Telenor Group, where he represented the company before European institutions and industry associations. In addition, he enhanced his expertise at the European Commission’s DG CONNECT, focusing on cybersecurity policies, media, and telecommunications and connectivity. During his tenure there, he also served as an assistant to the Director-General.
A French national, Mr. Gyss has two M.A.s in European affairs and management. He is Vice-President of Sport and Citizenship, a European think tank in the field of sport policy.
