Michael Bessey is a Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in London. He leads the firm’s Middle East and Africa Institutional Policy Solutions practice, helping government regulators and other organizations develop and implement evidence-based policy solutions, establish effective policy functions, and strengthen policymaking capabilities. He also advises multinational companies navigating the region’s rapidly evolving investment and policy landscape, with a focus on advancing new investments and addressing high-stakes policy issues that affect business value and market access.

During more than eight years with the firm, Mr. Bessey has been based in Washington, D.C., Dubai and Riyadh, advising more than 30 companies—from startups to global multinationals—across sectors including health care, technology, education, mining and minerals, and financial services.

Before joining DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, Mr. Bessey worked in the Congressional Research Service’s Middle East and Africa Section, where he advised members of Congress on Middle East foreign policy.
