Michael Bessey is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Dubai. He supports clients in the Middle East and North Africa practice through research and project coordination.

Prior to joining DGA-ASG, Mr. Bessey worked in the Congressional Research Service’s Middle East and Africa section, researching and writing on U.S. foreign policy issues for members of Congress. He also worked as a research assistant at Amherst College, conducting research on Middle East history and preparing journal articles and book manuscripts for publication.  

Mr. Bessey earned a B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Amherst College, and studied abroad at the Sorbonne University in Paris and the American University of Beirut. He is fluent in French and proficient in Arabic.
