Melissa J. Kopolow
Melissa J. Kopolow is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. An accomplished sustainability leader with more than 20 years in bridging the public and private sectors, Ms. Kopolow leads DGA-ASG’s Sustainability practice, where she leverages her expertise to integrate sustainability into core business operations.
Specializing in translating complex environmental and social challenges into practical solutions, Ms. Kopolow has a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive ESG strategies. She excels in managing intricate stakeholder relationships and driving positive change across diverse industries, including food and beverage, consumer products, and health and life sciences. Her areas of focus include human rights, social impact, sustainable agriculture, food security and plastic.
Prior to joining DGA-ASG, Ms. Kopolow held leadership roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev and the U.S. Department of State, where she spearheaded global initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She currently serves as the Chair of the U.S. Council on International Business’ Committee on Corporate Responsibility and Labor Affairs.
A sought-after thought leader, Ms. Kopolow is a frequent speaker on ESG topics and authored the foreword to The ESG and Sustainability Deskbook for Business, by Kristyn Noeth.
Ms. Kopolow earned a B.S. in communications from Northwestern University and an M.A. in international relations from American University, and is the proud mother of boy-girl twins.
