Mark Feierstein

Mark Feierstein is a Senior Advisor at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. He advises clients on entry and growth strategies throughout the Americas region.

Most recently, Mr. Feierstein served in the Biden administration as Acting Deputy Administrator at USAID. During the Obama administration, he was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs on the NSC. In that role, he helped orchestrate the President’s historic trips to Cuba and Argentina, coordinated an increase in U.S. assistance to Central America, developed the Peace Colombia initiative and led other efforts to deepen U.S. relationships across the Western Hemisphere. Previously, he served as Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID and as Special Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of American States at the State Department. 

Mr. Feierstein also serves as a senior advisor to GBAO, a public opinion research firm, a consultant to Major League Baseball, and senior advisor with the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He is a frequent guest on English- and Spanish-language television and radio programs in the U.S. and abroad, including BBC, CNN and NBC. He has also been quoted by outlets including The New York TimesThe Washington Post and POLITICO on U.S. foreign policy and Latin American politics.

Mr. Feierstein holds a B.A. in international relations, magna cum laude, from Tufts University and an M.A. in international affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
