Kristin Bahnsen is a Partner at DGA Group and is based in Denver. With more than two decades of experience in strategic intelligence, global operations, and risk advisory, she specializes in contextualizing intelligence to drive positive business outcomes. 

Ms. Bahnsen works at the nexus of geopolitics and supply chain in the climate era, drawing on her extensive public and private sector background to navigate complex challenges and deliver strategic insights. Most recently, she served as Vice President with Gartner, Inc., where she supported C-suite supply chain and operations leaders on their operational and digital transformations, ESG strategies and the future of work. She previously held roles in a global consulting firm, specializing in strategy and geopolitical risk analysis for Fortune 100 companies, with a specific focus as pharmaceutical sector lead. Her career began in the public sector, working for the federal government in the United States and abroad.

As a strategic advisor, Ms. Bahnsen leverages her diverse background in foreign policy, intelligence, risk management and global supply chain to identify and mitigate global risks, transforming potential challenges into opportunities for growth. She specializes in horizon scanning and geopolitical foresight, focusing on enhancing resilience across value chains. Driven by the goal of defining the next stage of supply chain evolution, she integrates insights from various disciplines to help clients build agile and resilient supply chains prepared for future challenges. 

Ms. Bahnsen earned her M.A. in governmental administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government and a B.A. in international politics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a board member with the Duet Design Group Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families by creating healing and soothing environments.
