Kevin L. Cook is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Chicago.

Mr. Cook counsels clients on corporate reputation, business transformation, and C-suite issues as part of the firm’s Complex Communications Advisory practice.

A seasoned communications executive with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Cook has led high-level engagements across Fortune 500 companies and global organizations. His expertise spans corporate reputation management, executive positioning, crisis and risk communications, strategic transactions, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

Mr. Cook is known for his strategic foresight and operational rigor, and is a trusted advisor to senior leaders navigating business-critical moments. He led United Airlines’ global crisis response following Flight 3411 and advised CEO Oscar Munoz on communications strategy throughout his tenure. Mr. Cook has also directed major brand transformation efforts for companies across industries including insurance, healthcare, retail, real estate, manufacturing, and financial services.

Before joining DGA Group, Mr. Cook served as President of Edelman’s Chicago office—the firm’s global co-headquarters—where he led a 700-person team, driving growth, innovation, and client service excellence.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Mr. Cook has played a pivotal role in advancing civic and economic initiatives in Chicago. He helped launch P33, the city’s technology and innovation nonprofit led by Penny Pritzker, and supported key public-sector campaigns such as the City of Chicago’s [Un]Spoken mental health initiative and the State of Illinois’ Intersect Illinois campaign.

He resides in Hinsdale, Illinois, with his wife, three children, and their yellow lab, Dakota.
