Jonathan Eigege
Jonathan Eigege is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. He supports DGA-ASG clients create and execute bespoke public engagement strategies, generate venture capital investment opportunities, structure partnerships and negotiate market access.
Mr. Eigege leverages his deep knowledge of and experience in navigating Africa’s dynamic political, corporate, and development landscapes to advise DGA-ASG’s private sector, multilateral, and philanthropic clients as they navigate risk, capture opportunities, and deepen their impact in Africa’s frontier markets.
Mr. Eigege is also a trusted advisor to social impact-focused clients and has managed firm-wide mandates focused on advancing primary healthcare, energy access, and gender equality. Mr. Eigege led the DGA-ASG team seconded to the Government of Nigeria to design and implement the National Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Dialogue, an 18-month, nationwide process through which Nigeria’s first-ever National WEE Policy was developed and adopted by the federal cabinet.
Before joining DGA-ASG as an intern in January 2016, Mr. Eigege worked with the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the D.C. Mayor’s Office on African Affairs.
Mr. Eigege received an M.A. in Africa studies and international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in international relations and affairs with a minor in business from Calvin University, where he served as student body president and sits on the Board of Trustees, as Chair of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Eigege was born and raised in Jos, Nigeria, and speaks Hausa and French.
