James King is a Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. As the lead of the Americas practice at DGA-ASG, he advises clients on political risk, global expansion, market entry and complex stakeholder engagement strategies, with a specialty in highly regulated sectors across Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Mr. King brings nearly 15 years of experience in global strategy and political risk advisory, frequently advising C-Suite executives and driving the implementation of complex, multijurisdictional strategies.  During this time, he has helped clients in sectors like health and life sciences, energy, manufacturing and the digital economy cement strategic partnerships, shape the policy environment for their sectors and secure key regulatory approvals, ultimately unlocking billions of dollars in value. 

Prior to joining DGA-ASG, Mr. King was a researcher at the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association’s (UNICA) Washington, D.C. office and helped found a non-governmental organization to support community projects in Rio de Janeiro. 

Mr. King is a proud graduate of the University of Rhode Island and holds a Masters of International Affairs degree from George Washington University. He is a recognized expert on investment and government relations in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese. He enjoys outdoors activities like fishing and hiking with his two children.
