Hu Bin

Hu Bin is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Beijing. He advises clients on government affairs strategies and policy and regulatory issues, particularly in the health and life sciences and medical device sectors.

Hu brings an extensive career in government relations and diplomacy, leading to a deep expertise in stakeholder engagement strategies and international trade. Prior to joining the firm, Hu led the Beijing office and government affairs team of Flon Holdings Group, where he managed a national research and development program in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Technology. Hu was previously the global government affairs manager for China at Abbott and led AbbVie’s government affairs team in China. In those roles, he focused on engagement with central-level regulators on pricing and reimbursement and led several cross-function policy research projects on biologics and biosimilars.

Earlier in his career, Hu served as a diplomat at the Chinese Mission to the European Union and at the Chinese Embassy in Belgium. He has also worked at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing as a trade policy specialist, focusing on bilateral coordination on health care policy. He has extensive experience in the field of international trade.

Hu received his M.S. from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and his B.A. from the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade.
