Francis Mallinson
Francis Mallinson is an Associate Partner at DGA Group and is based in London-based public affairs practice. He specializes in technology policy and advises clients in a variety of highly regulated sectors, working with multinational companies through to high growth startups.
Mr. Mallinson has almost 20 years of experience in government relations consultancy and is part of the company’s UK public affairs leadership team, managing client advisory work and business development. His technology sector specialism includes working with clients across several policy areas including digital regulation, telecoms, content safety, data and privacy, antitrust, artificial intelligence and consumer protection. This includes founding a series of high-impact coalitions to collaborate on cross-sector issues.
Prior to his work at DGA Group, Mr. Mallinson worked in consultancy at several firms, developing his technology specialism and advising businesses in the built environment, transport and infrastructure sectors including public sector partners contracting with government. He also worked in the civil service, for the National Farmers Union and a Labour Party whip in Parliament.
Mr. Mallinson has a B.A. Honours in geography and politics from Sheffield University. He is also a member of the Public Relations Consultants Association’s Public Affairs board. Away from work, he is a committed Arsenal FC supporter and season ticket holder and enjoys spending time with his young family.
