Florence Maisel

Senior Advisor — Public Affairs

Florence Maisel is a Partner in the Paris office where she advises senior-level executives of major multinational companies, helping them navigate the complex French political and institutional ecosystems. She works closely with clients to preserve their freedom to operate and leverage all potential opportunities to advance their business interests and reputation. Ms. Maisel has worked on opening the French market to new products and breakthrough technologies in sectors often associated with societal challenges, such as agriculture, food, the environment, and energy.

Ms. Maisel opened DGA Group (formerly Interel’s) Paris office in 1989, which made her one of the pioneers of professional lobbying in France. She was privileged to have international blue-chip clients from day one, and this allowed her to rapidly develop a high-profile practice. In 1991, she co-founded the French professional association of lobbying consultants (AFCL), and she served on the AFCL board for the next 25 years.

Ms. Maisel has also worked for a political consultancy, where she handled a number of political campaigns. Prior to that, she began her career as a management consultant at Arthur Young, now Ernst & Young, one of the big-five consulting companies.

Ms. Maisel graduated from Sciences Po Paris, and in addition to speaking her native French, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She is married and the mother of two daughters.
