Erik Brattberg
Erik Brattberg is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. As a recognized expert on European politics and transatlantic relations, he regularly advises global clients on navigating complex policy and regulatory trends in Europe, market entry and expansion, stakeholder management, and geopolitical and macroeconomic issues across the region.
Previously, Mr. Brattberg served as Director of the Europe Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Before that, he held numerous roles in other leading think tanks on both sides of the Atlantic and served as an advisor to companies and non-profits.
Mr. Brattberg has written articles for numerous outlets, including The Washington Post, The Financial Times, Politico, Foreign Policy and Foreign Affairs, and is a frequent commentator in major U.S. and international media outlets including Bloomberg, CBS News, CNBC, CNN, NBC News, NPR, The Wall Street Journal and BBC World News. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and think tank events and has testified before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. He serves on the national board of directors of the World Affairs Councils of America and is a member of Foreign Policy for America’s leadership circle, a member of the steering committee of the bipartisan Transatlantic Democracy Working Group, a member of the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Transatlantic Expert Group and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center.
Mr. Brattberg received an M.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University, which he attended as a Fulbright scholar, an M.A. and B.A. in political science from Uppsala University, and an executive certificate from Oxford University Saïd Business School.
