Dominique Ristori is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. 

Mr. Ristori has worked in the European Commission for over 40 years, holding several leadership positions: Director-General in charge of Energy from 2014 to 2019, Director-General of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) from 2010 to 2013 and Deputy Director General of the Directorate General for Energy from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, he served as Resources Director in the department of transport and energy from 2000 to 2006 and Director for European energy policy from 1996 to 1999. 

Mr. Ristori played an important role in the preparation and adoption process of the first two Directives on the Internal Market for gas and electricity. He also successfully launched the Firenze and Madrid Forum for electricity and gas at the origin of the Regulation process in the Energy Sector. From 1990 to 1996, he oversaw transnational cooperation between SMEs at the Directorate-General for Enterprise policy. 

Mr. Ristori graduated from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris.
