
Dita Charanzová
Dita Charanzová is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. A highly respected leader in European policymaking and international affairs, Ms. Charanzová guides clients through complex regulatory and geopolitical challenges, focusing primarily on the digital agenda, consumer protection, the internal market, and international trade.
Ms. Charanzová brings more than two decades of experience in European Union institutions, diplomacy, and international relations. She was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from July 2014 to 2024 and served as its vice-president from July 2019 to July 2024. As a long-serving Vice President of the European Parliament, she played a pivotal role in advancing policies on digital transformation, trade, and consumer protection. Ms. Charanzová has been a champion for fostering innovation while balancing regulatory frameworks, earning recognition for her leadership in shaping the EU’s digital agenda and ensuring the protection of European interests in an increasingly interconnected world.
Ms. Charanzová’s career also includes diplomatic service for the Czech Republic, where she focused on trade relations during her tenure at the Permanent Representation to the European Union. In 2023, the EU Matrix server declared her the sixth most influential Member of the European Parliament out of all 705 members.
Ms. Charanzová graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and the Diplomatic School of Spain in Madrid.
