CK Cheruvettolil is a Senior Advisor at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Seattle. He supports the firm’s Technology Policy and East Asia & Pacific practices, specializing in technology, finance and innovation, leveraging over 20 years of experience to drive impactful international projects, particularly in the health sector.

Mr. Cheruvettolil is an advisor to the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology. He has been a panelist for the Asia Pacific Digital Health Innovation initiative and has advised the World Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic on the digitization of vaccine certificates.

Most recently, Mr. Cheruvettolil led the Gates Foundation’s digital health and AI strategy, spearheading investments in India, Nigeria and Cambodia. His work includes developing an electronic health record framework and advancing machine vision technology to identify low birth weight infants. 

Prior to his tenure at the Gates Foundation, Mr. Cheruvettolil consulted the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Centers for Disease Control, co-authoring the national implementation plan for the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network.

Mr. Cheruvettolil received an M.A. in economics from Duke University and a certificate in computer science & artificial intelligence from MIT. He earned his B.A, with honors, in economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He is multilingual, speaking English, Hindi, Gujarati and Malayalam. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking with his family in the Pacific Northwest.
