Christine Calmeau
Christine Calmeau is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and is based in Brussels. A former journalist with broadcasting company RTL TVI for 20 years, she is now a communications consultant and communications manager for the regional Walloon ICT Cluster Infopole in Belgium.
Mrs. Calmeau began her career as a journalist and special correspondent with RTL TVI‘s daily news, covering social issues in Belgium and abroad. She has traveled the world to report on war and peace in the news, making live TV appearances on site. For more than a decade, she was the host of a daily live programme, called RTL+, commenting on the day’s news with specialists on set to answer viewers’ questions.
In 2018, Mrs. Calmeau worked as a policy advisor for the Justice Committee of the Belgian Parliament and subsequently took up the role of spokesperson for the Belgian Minister of Defence. She then founded her own communications agency, drawing on her vast experience in journalism, media and politics.
Mrs. Calmeau holds an M.A. in management science from HEC – Université de Liège. She is passionate about literature and has been writing literary columns for Bel RTL, Radio Judaïca, LN24 and Radio Nostalgie for over 20 years.
