Anya Prusa
Anya Prusa is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. She manages the firm’s Americas practice, advising clients on market entry, political risk, and stakeholder engagement strategies across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Ms. Prusa brings almost 15 years of experience navigating complex economic and political landscapes in Latin America, with a particular focus on Brazil. Before joining DGA-ASG in 2021, Ms. Prusa headed the Brazil Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where she led initiatives on healthcare, technology, innovation and climate change, including a high-level working group on Brazil-U.S. cooperation for sustainable development with the private sector and civil society. Previously, Ms. Prusa worked at the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Brazilian and Southern Cone Affairs through the Pathways program.
Ms. Prusa has been interviewed by numerous news outlets — including BBC, Bloomberg, Financial Times, NPR, Reuters, The Washington Post and Valor Econômico — on Brazil’s economic and political developments. Since 2020, she has also taught classes on Brazil and the Southern Cone as a course coordinator at the U.S. Foreign Service Institute.
Ms. Prusa holds an M.P.P. from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Latin American and hemispheric studies from the George Washington University, and a B.A. in history and political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida. She lived in São Paulo, Brazil from 2012 to 2014 and speaks fluent Portuguese.
