Amy Celico is a Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Washington, D.C. She leads the firm’s China practice in D.C., leveraging 30 years of experience to assist corporate and non-profit clients develop and expand business opportunities in China, and navigate regulatory and policy changes in the China market.

Ms. Celico’s expertise includes U.S.-China relations, China’s evolving economic priorities and the environment for foreign investors operating in China. Previously, she served as Senior Director for China Affairs at the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office, where she developed negotiating positions on China’s non-financial services sectors and intellectual property rights policies. She also served as Deputy Director of the Office of the Chinese Economic Area at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as head of the Trade Facilitation Office at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, monitoring China’s WTO compliance and developing U.S.-China trade policy. Additionally, she held positions at the U.S. State Department as an intelligence analyst, Vice Consul for economic affairs at the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai and as a bilingual assistant to the Executive Director for China at the International Monetary Fund.  

Ms. Celico serves on the board of directors of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and is a senior associate (non-resident) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Ms. Celico earned her M.A. in international economics and strategic studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. with honors in Asian studies from Mount Holyoke College.
