Aleen Murtaza

Aleen Murtaza is an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in London. She helps companies and organizations navigate complex regulatory environments in several policy areas, including economic regeneration, tourism and culture, agriculture, sustainability, development, and infrastructure. 

Ms. Murtaza brings over a decade of experience in economic modelling, forecasting and analysis as well as sector-specific expertise in trade, transport, food retail, welfare and pensions. Prior to joining DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, she was a manager at PwC in their Economics and Sustainability division, where she advised local government bodies and other stakeholders on various Saudi Vision 2030 projects. 

Previously, Ms. Murtaza was an economic advisor for the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) where she advised the Tier 1 Transport Infrastructure Investment Board. She worked as Analysis Appraisal and Assurance lead on projects for various modes of transport including aviation. She was also an assistant economist for the UK’s Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and a Food and Environmental Risk Economist for the Department for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra), where she analyzed complex economic data to identify trends, evaluate strategies, navigate EU regulations for the common market and develop policy insights.

Ms. Murtaza earned her M.A in economics from Uppsala University Sweden.
