DGA Group Welcomes Ambassador Donald Gips and Francine Lamoriello as Senior Advisors

Washington, D.C. – January 5, 2026 – DGA Group, an expert-led advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Ambassador Donald Gips and Francine Lamoriello as Senior Advisors to DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group. Together, they further enhance DGA Group’s ability to guide clients through shifting geopolitical landscapes, develop inclusive growth and market-entry strategies, and navigate cross-border trade and regulatory frameworks. 

Ambassador Donald Gips brings more than three decades of senior-level experience in complex diplomacy, business, global development, and international policy. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Skoll Foundation, where he led efforts to drive social entrepreneurship and innovative solutions to global challenges, and he continues to serve as a Strategic Counselor. His distinguished government career included serving as U.S. Ambassador to South Africa and Director of Presidential Personnel during the Obama administration, and Chief Domestic Policy Advisor to Vice President Al Gore. Notably, Ambassador Gips played a key role in launching America’s national service program, AmeriCorps, and served as Chief of the International Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission, where he oversaw World Trade Organization negotiations and spectrum policy. He received the Sue M. Cobb Award for Exemplary Diplomatic Service. Ambassador Gips’ private sector experience includes time at McKinsey and serving as Head of Corporate Development at Level 3 Communications. He has served on numerous corporate boards and currently sits on the board of Cassava Technologies, one of Africa’s leading technology providers. In addition, he is a strategic advisor to a broad range of companies and previously led the Africa Practice at Albright Stonebridge Group. 

Francine Lamoriello joins the firm following a distinguished career in global business development, advocacy, and international trade, with deep experience across the public and private sectors. She most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Strategies at the Personal Care Products Council, advancing efforts to align regulatory policies and ease cross-border trade for business. Earlier roles include serving as Senior International and Business Strategy Advisor at Baker Donelson and Director of International Trade and Investment Services at KPMG Peat Marwick, where she led international strategy and marketing studies for a wide range of U.S. companies. In the public sector, she served at the U.S. Department of Commerce as Director of the European Community Single Market Program.
