On 28 November, the Council of the EU rubber-stamped the compromise text on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) agreed in June 2022 between the European Parliament and Member States.
The legislation takes sustainability reporting to a new level by setting out stricter, EU-wide non-financial disclosure rules that will affect both EU and non-EU businesses operating in the Single Market.
