Julie Cooper

Julie Cooper is a Partner in the Brussels office.

She provides both strategic and operational leadership to a growing portfolio of health-related accounts in support of new product launches, market access, market seeding and development, clinical and patient advocacy, coalition building, and disease awareness. She runs DGA Group Global Health Network (IGP Health) and is responsible for the continual growth, development, and delivery of the firm’s health business.

Ms. Cooper lends strategic advice to numerous European and global clients on how to realize policy developments as business opportunities. She also supports them in communicating evidence and data to inform the policy process, as well as in stakeholder engagement and mobilization. Among the clients she has supported are Gilead, Sanofi, GSK, Novo Nordisk, MSD, European Pain Federation, European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and World Kidney Day.

Ms. Cooper’s career in public affairs and healthcare has spanned 25 years, including work in the European Commission, the U.K. House of Commons, and the United States Congress and Senate. She has also served as head of corporate affairs at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London.

Ms. Cooper holds a BSc in public affairs from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and an MSc in regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Ms. Cooper, who is a dual American/British citizen, speaks English and proficient French.
