Chris Kettmann is a Partner at DGA Group and is based in the Chicago office. He specializes in capital markets communications, including investor relations, transactions, new public listings (IPOs, SPACs and spinoffs) and shareholder activism. Throughout his career Mr. Kettmann has advised public and private companies of all sizes and geographies on developing and executing comprehensive, strategic communications and engagement programs, incorporating in-depth research and analysis and a network of relationships built throughout his 20+ years in the financial communications industry.

His clients have spanned a variety of industries – with a particular focus in the industrials, technology, consumer and energy sectors. Mr. Kettmann’s work has included extensive messaging, crisis management, shareholder activism, ESG and market intelligence counsel, and he has had considerable experience working on initial public offerings and SPACs, domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and contested proxy campaigns. He has also served as interim in-house investor relations officer, as well as the head of corporate communications, for several clients.

Mr. Kettmann joins from Lincoln Churchill Advisors, a Chicago-based strategic communications firm he co-founded that is focused on investor relations, transaction communications and media relations. Previously, Mr. Kettmann was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting – a global, strategic communications firm – where he primarily advised companies in the industrial, energy, consumer and technology industries. During his tenure at FTI, he served as head of Capital Markets for the Energy & Natural Resources segment. Before FTI, Mr. Kettmann was a Senior Vice President with financial communications firm Ashton Partners until its acquisition by FTI.

Mr. Kettmann has spoken at numerous communications industry events on topics such as the impact of shareholder activism, managing through a crisis, the importance of a CEO’s involvement in the public policy debate, M&A trends and building best practice investor relations programs. He has a BA in Finance from Loras College, has been a member of NIRI for the past 20 years and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the NIRI Virtual Chapter.
