Michael Žantovský

Ambassador Michael Žantovský is a Senior Advisor at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, a founding member of DGA Group, and is based in Prague. He advises clients on investment, business opportunities and current affairs in the Czech Republic and the European Union.

With a distinguished career in diplomacy, politics, authorship and translation, Ambassador Žantovský brings extensive expertise from the highest levels of international affairs. He recently served as the Executive Director of the Václav Havel Library, President of the Aspen Institute Prague, and as a member of the Forum 2000 Foundation Program Council.

As a key figure in the 1989 Czechoslovak Velvet Revolution, Ambassador Žantovský served as spokesman for President Václav Havel and political director in the Office of the President. His government experience includes roles as Ambassador to the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom. In addition, he has held political positions as chairman of the Civic Democratic Alliance and as a Senator, where he chaired the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Security in Parliament.

Ambassador Žantovský earned an M.A. in psychology from Charles University in Prague.
