Michael Bessey, Middle East & Africa Geopolitical Strategy
Mr. Bessey helps government regulators and other organizations across the Middle East develop and implement evidence-based policy solutions, establish effective policy functions, and strengthen their policymaking capabilities. He also helps multinational companies navigate the region’s investment and policy landscape. In his more than eight years with the firm, Michael has been based in Washington, DC, Dubai, and Riyadh, and now divides his time between London and the Gulf. Previously, Michael worked in the Congressional Research Service’s Middle East and Africa Section, advising Members of Congress on Middle East foreign policy matters.
Tim Saunders, United Kingdom (UK) Public Affairs
Mr. Saunders advises global firms and associations on UK public affairs and advocacy strategy across sectors including technology, public procurement, energy, and sustainability. He has led campaigns and advised clients on corporate issues involving regulation, tax, competition, industrial policy, and public sector bids. Earlier in his career, he worked for the previous Labour government, contributing to policy development in areas including international climate negotiations and business policy. He brings practical experience in how policy is shaped, debated, and advanced.
